BLESSENCE was started in Dec 2003 and has become a very popular night for those who love good music & want to be around like minded people. Our supporters have expressed the need to hear the old school classics ie: Rare Grooves, Lovers Rock & Revivals. All too often they go to clubs and rarely get to hear the kind of music they love & enjoy. Many of us have come from the background of the 'Blues Dance' where ravers would sing, dance and be merry. With Blessence, we have tried and hopefully succeeded in creating this vibe.

Since the start, we have introduced some of the best lovers rock singers in Britain, including, Louisa Marks, Janet Kay, Carroll Thompson, Winston Reedy, Trevor Walters, Peter Hunningale, Paulette Tajah & Victor Romero Evans. RnB singer Nathan and up and coming star, Aisha have also been featured.

At Blessence, we have the best DJ’s who usually get the crowd singing along to every tune. There is always a friendly atmosphere, so you can let your hair down and have some good old fashioned fun.

Blessence is a night mainly for women but men are always welcomed.
